CAPABLE

A novice strength training program, designed to help you become more capable, in and out of the gym.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Following a fitness program is only for the athletes

You just don't have an interest in exercising

You need to accomplish XYZ first, and then you'll start

You're so out of shape, there's no way you can exercise

If this is you, then...

You are in the right place!

It's time to change your perspective on fitness.

Strength training isn't just for the athletes.

And it's about time you start realizing it. Do you find yourself physically struggling, doing everyday tasks? What about wishing that you could lift & move household items, independently? If so, this is for you.

CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO RAISE THE BAR

in the gym, and in life.

Strengthen your body, as well as your mind

Maintain/improve bone density, especially as you age

Increase longevity

Build discipline, and boost your confidence

Specifics

Included in the program..

  • 3 full-body workouts per week, including exercises that mimic our every day movements

  • Demonstration videos for every movement

  • Movement prep [warm-ups], to prepare your body for the workout, and reduce risk of injury

  • Exercise variables, giving specific information on how to perform movements

  • Upper & lower body cool-downs, to stretch the muscles just worked, and enabling you to lower heart rate back to resting levels

  • 4 phases targeting general fitness, balance, aerobic fitness, and strength, with each phase lasting 3 months

Mindset before Capable..

Fitness is an 8-12week challenge, where we do high intensity workouts and bootcamps, 5-6x a week. The main goal of the challenge is weight loss, and we measure and weigh ourselves weekly, hoping for the number to drop, only to be left feeling disappointed when it doesn't go that way.

Mindset after Capable..

Fitness is what we make of it. We strength train 3-4x a week, with the main goal of becoming more capable. This way is sustainable, therefore we become consistent. We're no longer consumed by the number on the scale, and learn that fitness isn't an option, but a necessity for a healthy and happy life.

Do the words squat, deadlift, or overhead press sound intimidating?

If so, keep reading..

You already squat when you..

  • Lift your infant from their play mat

  • Pick up something you dropped on the floor

  • Sit/stand up from your chair or couch

You already deadlift when you..

  • Bend over to pick up the laundry bin

  • Grab something out of the bottom cabinet

  • Pick something up to put in the back of the SUV

You already overhead press when you..

  • Put something in the top cabinet

  • Toss your child in the air

  • Transfer clothes to the front loading dryer

I'm not going to turn you into the fastest, and strongest athlete. I'm going to make you more capable of doing the things you already do.

How we perform in the gym, directly translates to how we perform in life.

BTW, the program is delivered through an app, that includes:

80+ well-balanced breakfast, lunch, and dinner

recipes for you to try out

a community forum, where you can interact

with others in the program

resource center, containing helpful information

and videos on how to navigate the program

And here's my favorite part..

I'm Kat, and I'll be your coach!

This isn't a 1:1 program. Capable was designed to be a DIY program, meaning you choose the pace. However, because helping others on their health journey is such a huge passion of mine, I am in the app frequently. I post in the community forum often, and occasionally take a look at your recent activity to offer encouragement and advice, if needed.

Last question..

Are you ready to become more Capable?
